  • Coordinate interfaces between mechanical systems, electrical components, vehicle interiors, equipment, and surrounding assemblies.
  • Collaborate with industrial designers, engineers, manufacturers, and suppliers to resolve design and integration challenges.
  • Manage design changes, revisions, and configuration updates while maintaining alignment with project requirements.
  • Support design reviews, prototype development, testing, evaluation, manufacturing readiness, and production activities.
  • Research materials, components, manufacturing processes, and emerging technologies to improve product performance and manufacturability.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of design methods, product development processes, and documentation standards.

  • Experience designing injection-moulded plastic components, including tooling and manufacturing considerations.
  • Knowledge of metal component and assembly design, including sheet metal, fabricated structures, welded assemblies, and extrusions.
  • Experience coordinating complex assemblies and integrating mechanical systems, electrical interfaces, wiring, routing, and mounting requirements.
  • Fluency in French and English, spoken and written, with the ability to communicate with clients, suppliers, manufacturers, and project stakeholders in both languages.

Assets :

  • Experience in transportation, rail, public transit, specialized vehicles, commercial vehicles, industrial equipment, or a related industry.
  • Experience supporting prototype development, testing, manufacturing, and production activities.

How You Work

  • You are organized and detail-oriented, and you maintain control of multiple priorities and project deliverables.
  • You take initiative, work independently, and apply sound technical judgment when resolving issues.
  • You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with technical, operational, and external stakeholders.
  • You approach complex electrical and automation problems with a practical and solutions-oriented mindset.
